Payout speed is the clearest test of a prop firm. Two things matter: how often you’re allowed to request a payout, and how long the firm takes to send it. The firms below score best on both for UK traders.
Our picks at a glance
FundedNext, Funding Pips, E8 Markets, FTMO. Each firm below accepts UK residents, and we’ve listed the rules that matter most for this use. Firm terms change often, so confirm details on the firm’s site before buying.
What to look for
Frequency. Can you request weekly, bi-weekly or on demand? When is the first payout allowed?
Processing time. How long between approval and money arriving, and is there a guarantee?
Methods for UK traders. Wise, Rise, crypto and bank transfers differ in speed and conversion costs to pounds.
Conditions. Consistency rules and minimum payouts can delay eligibility even when processing is fast.

Trading from the UK
Forex traders get the most liquidity during the London–New York overlap, roughly 13:00–17:00 UK time. US index futures are busiest after the New York cash open at 14:30 UK time (13:30 for a few weeks in spring and autumn when the clocks change on different dates). Payouts are generally taxable income for HMRC: see prop firm tax in the UK.
